• If your results are good enough and if the training instructor agrees, you can shorten the trainee period by 6 months.

• We offer training in commercial and industrial professions.
• The extremely varied commercial training at SCHÄFER Werke includes all core areas such as sales, central purchasing, materials management, salaries and financial accounting, marketing, etc. All trainees have to go through each of these areas during their training and will always have a competent personal contact in each department. This support enables the previously established goals to be maintained and the quality of our training guaranteed.
• The industrial training courses all begin with basic training for all trades in our training workshop. After this, the trainees go to their specialist areas (electrical workshop, metalworking shop, tool making, production) and are introduced to the daily routine there with the support of a training officer. During this time, all trainees must complete the various modules on their courses, which are all carried out exclusively in our own training workshop – all from a single source! The final exam will therefore also be taken at your usual workplace.

• As a family business, we train young people exclusively for our own needs. So, with a good performance in school and in the company, you will be taken on permanently.

• We have a very well equipped workshop where you can absolve all the required modules you need to complete your training. It’s not without good reason that Chamber of Commerce (final) exams are held in our workshop. So, being sent to an education centre or another company to acquire particular skills/knowledge is something you will never experience. You will also take your final exams in a familiar setting where you have done all your training and know your way around.
• We also have our own in-house training school which will provide you with the optimal preparation for the theory examination.

• Before the training course begins, you will be given information and preparation material.
• You will be given individual support by the training management team and the training officers in each department throughout the entire duration of your training.
• Training takes place exclusively within the company’s normal business activities and processes.
• We support the learning process at school by providing a company teacher, who will also prepare you for your later theoretical examination.
